Musée de l’Histoire Maritime de Bordeaux: Entry Ticket + Audio Guide

About This Experience

The Musée de l’Histoire Maritime de Bordeaux presents the maritime, port, and river history of the Port de la Lune. Bordeaux’s existence and development are influenced by its geographical location between the Atlantic coast and the Mediterranean trade routes. The museum highlights individuals and families such as poets, philosophers, adventurers, shipowners, navigators, royal corsairs, merchants, and industrialists who contributed to this story. Discover items from Bordeaux families, including documents, prints, paintings, model ships, ship plans, nautical charts, and navigation instruments, tracing the port’s history from the Gallo-Roman era to today.
