Begin with food tastings such as baccalà mantecato, gamberi in saor, and a meat polpetta, served with a glass of Chardonnay. Then cross the Grand Canal on a traghetto gondola and continue to the Rialto area. In Rialto, stop at an eatery to try seafood sourced from the nearby market. Dishes may include squid ink risotto, fried seafood, polenta with seafood, or tuna with vegetables, served with Prosecco. Visit local bars to learn about cicchetti. Try a tramezzino and a Venetian Spritz at one stop. Taste baccalà prepared in two different ways at another stop.
