About This Experience

Tour the Parmigiano Reggiano factory near Parma to learn about the cheese-making process dating back to 1895. See how fresh milk is transformed into Parmigiano Reggiano in the production rooms. Follow the curdling, shaping, and aging stages in the large storage areas filled with cheese wheels. The tour ends with a tasting session of Parmigiano Reggiano aged 15, 24, and 36 months. Taste the different textures and flavors, along with some Parmigiano cream, a glass of Lambrusco or Malvasia wine, and water.
