Naples: Guided Walking Tour

About This Experience

Step into the annals of history in Naples. The tour starts at the Piazza Municipio, a seaside square with a local guide brimming with tales to share. From here, move through the millennia of this extraordinary city's story. Get carried away by the magnetic pull of antiquity, enveloped by age-old monuments that have silently observed the unfolding of history. Stroll through the Galleria Umberto I, a symbol of Naples' golden age of prosperity and creativity, and gaze upon the commanding San Carlo Theatre (from the outside). Then, prepare to be amazed by the splendid Piazza Plebiscito, the starting point of an ascent towards the Spanish quarters via the funicular railway stairs. Meander along lovable, cobblestone streets, brushing shoulders with ancient palaces and extravagant Baroque façades. The grand finale of this adventure lies in one of Naples' most magical corners: the famous Diego Armando Maradona Mural, a deeply moving and spectacular tribute.
