About This Experience

Visit the Seattle Aquarium and explore the marine life of the Pacific Northwest and the South Pacific. The aquarium includes three buildings, including the new Ocean Pavilion. See a tropical reef from both above and below. Watch fish swim in schools and get a close look at sharks and rays. View species native to the Pacific Northwest, like sea otters, river otters, harbor seals, and fur seals. Learn how the aquarium helps protect these marine mammals. Step inside a 360° underwater dome and watch fish from local waters swim. Walk through a habitat that reflects the Pacific Northwest coast. Look for puffins, oystercatchers, and other shorebirds. See what life is like off the coast of Washington. This exhibit features a range of local sea creatures. Touch pools give you the chance to feel sea stars, urchins, and other tide pool animals. Throughout your visit, the aquarium staff will be available to answer questions and talk about the animals and conservation efforts.
