From San Francisco: Half Day Muir Woods Tour, Sausalito Tour and Bay Cruise

About This Experience

Escape San Francisco with a half-day trip to Muir Woods and Sausalito, plus a 4-hour bike rental to explore the city. Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and drive through Marin County's coastal mountains. Enjoy views of the San Francisco Bay and valleys that were home to the Coastal Miwok people. Stop first at Muir Woods National Monument to see the Giant Redwoods along Redwood Creek. The entrance fee is included in the tour, and you'll have 90 minutes to explore. Next, visit the town of Sausalito for 60 minutes. This Mediterranean-style village includes shops, art galleries, and waterfront restaurants. Back in San Francisco at Pier 39, take a 60-minute Bay Cruise. You'll see Pier 39's sea lions and the waterfront with views of the city's skyline. Sail under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz Island. You'll also pass Angel Island and see the San Francisco skyline. The cruise offers indoor and outdoor seating, with narration about key landmarks.
