Zaanse Schans Windmills: Half-Day Guided Tour + Transport

À propos de cette expérience

Experience the charm of traditional Dutch life and see windmills, cheese making, and clog making in the quaint village of Zaanse Schans, where green-painted wooden houses line the narrow streets. It's like an open-air museum of typical Dutchness! A friendly, professional guide will accompany you throughout the village and introduce the local history and culture, providing you with insider tips about things to do and see, before you get time to further explore on your own. Visit the traditional cobbler's shop for a live demonstration of how wooden shoes are crafted, and see a live demonstration and tasting at a real Dutch cheese farm. If you're looking for something more relaxing, add a calming cruise along Amsterdam's UNESCO-listed canals instead.
