Leave from a spot in the center of Athens and go by bus to Cape Sounion. Hear about the mythology and history of the area during the ride. Stop at the ancient Theatre of Thorikos, the oldest preserved theater in the world. See the views and the old silver mines in the region. Arrive at Cape Sounion, where you will have about 2 hours of free time to visit the Temple of Poseidon. Walk around the temple and see the Aegean Sea as the sun sets over the waters.
