Begin the day with a pickup from your hotel and visit the abandoned village of Cavusin, known for its rock-cut homes. Continue to Ozkonak Underground City, navigating its tunnels and viewing its ventilation shafts and defense systems. Visit a pottery workshop in Avanos to watch artisans at work and try shaping clay yourself. Have a buffet lunch with fresh local dishes (at your own expense). In the afternoon, head to Uchisar and watch carpet weaving in action. Walk through Pigeon Valley, notable for its dovecotes carved into the cliffs. Then, explore Uchisar Fortress and visit the Göreme Open Air Museum to see ancient churches decorated with vivid frescoes. End the day with a comfortable ride back to your hotel.
