Meet your driver/guide at the pickup point in the morning to start your Great Ocean Road journey. You’ll first pass Melbourne’s landmark West Gate Bridge, which spans the Yarra River. You’ll arrive early at the Twelve Apostles to avoid crowds and get photos without backlighting. Have plenty of time to walk along the coastal boardwalk and view the Twelve Apostles from various lookouts. Next, you’ll visit Loch Ard Gorge, a natural attraction in Australia with steep cliffs, golden sand beaches, clear waters, and limestone formations. You’ll then stop in the Otway Ranges rainforest to look for wild koalas. Koalas are wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed. Lunch is at your own expense at a seaside restaurant in Apollo Bay. On the way back, you’ll drive through the coastal resort town of Lorne and stop for photos at the Great Ocean Road sign. You’ll also pass through Anglesea before returning to your Melbourne pickup location.
