Berlin: Fate, Love Stories & War Heroes Guided Tour

À propos de cette expérience

Experience the dark chapter of the division of Berlin in GDR times up close on this special two-hour wall tour. With qualified guides, you will learn a lot about happy or tragic escape attempts, power-hungry politicians, fierce border guards and an overwhelmed political system. With all due seriousness to the topic and the victims, you can also laugh on this tour – the team of humorous guides are guaranteed to find a way. They will take you to the historical sites where the wall was built and tell the stories of the lives of those who were directly affected by the division. There were no limits to the creativity of the escape attempts: with homemade hot air balloons or the plane, steel ropes or diving suits; through tunnels dug in secret or daring window jumps – people defied many obstacles on their way to freedom.
