The Herakleidon Museum is situated right in the middle of the pedestrian street that connects Acropolis, the Ancient Agora and the Roman Agora. This means it would be a shame not to pay a visit to this fascinating exhibition, housed in two carefully restored neoclassical buildings. EUREKA, Science, Art and Technology of the Ancient Greeks casts the spotlight on some of the Ancient Greeks' amazing accomplishments. Meet Antikythera Mechanism, the first analog computer and one of the greatest achievements of mankind. See how an early robot called The Moving Servant came about, based on the inventions of Hero of Alexandria and Philo of Byzantium, and learn how the Myceneans diverted rivers and drained lakes in ways that even nowadays seem miraculous.
