Combined Cambridge University Walking & Punting Tour With King’s College

À propos de cette expérience

In just an hour and a half, you'll walk through a thousand years of human history in Cambridge! See the rooms where Newton wrote his theory of gravity, visit the pub where Watson and Crick announced one of the greatest discoveries of the 20th century, and marvel at some of the greatest examples of Gothic and Neoclassical architecture in the world. Your tour guides are either graduates or current students of the University of Cambridge, so you'll get the lowdown on university life, too. Undoubtedly the best way to see the most famous Cambridge colleges is to take a punting tour. Spend around 50 minutes on the water as you're punted through eight colleges and underneath nine bridges. Behold the breathtaking sight of King’s College Chapel, the mysterious Mathematical Bridge, and heaps more. With stories spanning centuries, including tyrannical rulers, student pranksters, and intellectual greats, all history lessons should be like this one.
