Ayutthaya City Culture Bicycle Ride

À propos de cette expérience

Take to two wheels and discover the wonders of Ayutthaya the easy way on this 3-hour bicycle tour with an expert guide. The once-mighty capital of Siam will come to life as you uncover its history, from its tiny surrounding towns to temples, food stalls, and more. Stop at Pom Phet or “Diamond Fortress”, one of the 16 fortresses along the city walls of Ayutthaya. Although partially destroyed, you'll still get the same first impression of the Kingdom of Siam as all those ancient travelers once did. At the world-renowned Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991, check out the ruins of the old temples. Then stop at Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat, famous for its Buddha’s head entwined within the roots of a tree. Continuing on your Ayutthaya bicycle ride to Chao Phrom Market, try some delicious local foods before taking a ferry back across the Pasak River.
